An icon redefined

First of all, the 2018 Accord debuts with a completely new design. Its looks have been both redesigned and redefined, and the new Accord has a very upscale look with sharp, well-defined and aggressive lines. One of key visual features of the new midsize Honda is the beautiful chrome trim that accentuates and defines the sloping roofline of the new Accord. All that makes the upcoming Accord very elegant and attractive from the outside, but there’s also the new interior. Sophisticated materials such as soft leather and wood are used throughout the inside of the car, and the overall allure of the Accord has greatly improved. Teaser photos show a fully loaded Accord with cream leather, a cleverly designed infotainment system and push button automatic transmission. The interior now has a lot less going on, and as such, it looks way more refined than on the previous generation. With all that in mind, the 2018 Accord has the looks that are more upscale than ever, and Honda also markets it as the smartest Accord to this day with next-level intelligence and a host of new premium features that are yet to be revealed.

Turbocharged and hybrid power

The power of the Accord comes in three versions. The base one features an all-new turbocharged 1.5L inline four engine, followed by a turbocharged 2.0L inline four which has also been developed from scratch. Finally, there’s a 3rd generation two-motor hybrid system. With all this in mind, the 10th generation Accord promises a lot. Also, Honda claims that it will be the most efficient Accord yet, while also being the most fun one to drive too. It is a bold claim indeed, but it’s also justified because Honda put a lot of effort into improving the Accord in every segment in its quest towards offering the best for its new and returning customers.
